Aside from the terrible, slow, expensive and unreliable public transport in Winnipeg, we also have some pretty brutal roads with relatively no bike lanes. Plus, these folks, and many others (like our amazing couriers at Natural Cycle) cycle here year round. Yes, that means in the winter. This may be nothing new to you Torontonians or Vancouverites, but in Winnipeg the temperature has been below -40 more days than I can remember.
