Join veteran activists and author Jim Harding for the launch of The Long Sixties:Stories From the New Left.

About the Book:

There are few texts which capture the energy of the 1960s and the experiences of the New Left in Canada. The Long Sixties: Stories from the New Left offers this historical perspective, and exists to begin an intergenerational dialogue and solidarity between elder activists and young activists who are starting their political lives. Join veteran activists and author Jim Harding for the launch of this book and listen to the stories, advice and experiences he has to offer.

About the author:

Jim Harding is past director of the School of Human Justice at the University of Regina. He served as inner-city representative on Regina City Council and as mayor of the Village of Fort San. He is the founding board chair of the Qu’Appelle Valley Centre for the Arts and a founding director of the Qu’Appelle Valley Environmental Association.
