Halifax Launch of Bearing Witness: Journalists, Record Keepers and the 1917 Halifax Explosion

Everyone is welcome to attend the launch of Bearing Witness and author Michael Dupuis’ presentation detailing the timeline of journalistic activities from the time of the Explosion on December 6th to December 16th. This book presents not only the original work by journalists and record keepers, but also over 30 photographs and illustrations - some of which are previously unseen. Special guests at the launch include descendants of those journalists and record keepers who have shared their oral histories, documents and photographs in the book. They are travelling from locations in Canada and the US to be part of this event.
