Graham Reynolds and Wanda Robson will be reading at Halifax Central Library

This all-ages event will give children and adults alike the chance to learn more about the life of Viola Desmond. Special guests include Graham Reynolds and Wanda Robson, authors of Viola Desmond’s Canada: A History of Blacks and Racial Segregation in the Promised Land, shortlisted for the 2017 Robbie Robertson Dartmouth Book Award (Non-Fiction) and Beatrice MacDonald along with many of the student authors of the new and high acclaimed children’s book, The ABC’s of Viola Desmond.
