The author, Brandon Doucet, and two co-panelists, Christine Saulnier and Leila Sarangi will be in conversation.
Dr. Brandon Doucet is a dentist practising in Nova Scotia, with interests in surgery and public health, and is the founder of the Coalition for Dentalcare.
Christine Saulnier is Director of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives-Nova Scotia. She has a doctorate in Political Science from York University. She leads the living wage calculations for communities across Atlantic Canada and co-author of the annual child and family poverty report cards for Nova Scotia. She serves on the Steering Committee of Child Care Now Nova Scotia, and Campaign 2000. She was on the Board of the NS Health Coalition for 10 years.
Leila Sarangi is a community organizer who spent more than 20 years working with diverse homeless women and women fleeing violence in Toronto and is currently the national coordinator of Campaign 2000.
