Renowned writer and militant activist, Gord Hill, will speak at Mondragon Bookstore & Coffeehouse to celebrate the release of his book 500 Years of Indigenous Resistance. Things will kick off around 7:30 pm. For those who don’t already know, Mondragon is located at 91 Albert Street. Don’t miss out!

Oh! Did you miss out? Well you’re in luck! Gord Hill will ALSO be speaking at the Winnipeg Radical Book Fair this Saturday at Broadway Community Centre, 185 Young St. The Book Fair will host a bevy of other speakers (including Fernwood stars David Hugill and Elizabeth Comack), DIY workshops and tables from various organizations and vendors (including yours truly). The forecast calls for sunshine, so get out and enjoy the last days of nice weather - and come say hello to us too!
