Fernwood is incredibly saddened to hear of Jen Powley's passing.
We are honoured to have been her publisher; we got to experience firsthand her great love for the world, her fierce desire to transform it into a better place for disabled people—for every body—to live joyous and full lives. We continue to hear from audiences who feel seen, motivated, and provoked by her words. Jen gave herself to her communities and we will all deeply miss her jokes and her passion.
Fernwood will be donating a portion of proceeds from Jen's books to Independent Living Nova Scotia.
