Access to Fernwood Publishing titles during COVID-19 disruptions
May 25, 2021
Books from Fernwood Publishing continue to be available through COVID-19 related disruptions. Brunswick Books, who provides our sales and distribution services in Canada, continues to fill orders of print texts for course use and bookstore sales. If you are ordering a book for an upcoming course contact your university bookstore to ensure they are processing orders as usual. We also encourage you to support your local independent booksellers during this time as they are struggling through this pandemic and require our support.
If your university or college bookstore is unable to provide print books for upcoming courses you can also advise students to order their texts directly from the Fernwood Publishing website.
For course orders, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org 416.703.3598. Brunswick Books is operating within COVID-19 restrictions so we ask for your patience. www.brunswickbooks.ca
Some schools are encouraging professors to use eBooks for forthcoming classes. Many Fernwood Publishing books are available in both print and eBook form and we are working steadily to make additional titles available as eBooks. Students can purchase eBooks directly from the Fernwood Publishing website. Many are also available through other eBook vendors. Most of our eBook titles are offered in PDF and EPUB format.
Many academic bookstores also have systems such as Campus eBookstore or RedShelf in place through which students can purchase our eBooks alongside their other course materials. Our eBooks are available through Campus eBookstore and RedShelf. Please contact your bookstore or write to us at email@example.com for further information on course orders of eBooks. What if I wish to assign a text in electronic form but no eBook option is listed on the Fernwood website?
While many of our titles are already available for sale as eBooks we are steadily working to convert additional titles as we are able. If you let us know that you are planning to adopt a specific title for course use we will try our best to accommodate your needs.
Examination and Desk Copies
We are able to provide instructors with electronic examination and desk copies of most titles immediately upon request. To request an electronic copy, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org. If a print copy is urgently required for review or for teaching, please let us know and we’ll arrange to have one sent as soon as possible to your home address.
