Christian Comeliau

Christian Comeliau was formerly Professor of Development Economics at the Institut Universaire d’Etudes du Développement (Graduate Institute of Development Studies), Geneva, from 1990 to 2003. An economist, he has held positions, among others, at the OECD and at the Commissariat Général du Plan in Paris. Since 1980, he has been guest professor at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris and is an occasional consultant for the United Nations and the French Cooperation. Mr Comeliau has published numerous books and articles and is currently preparing La croissance économique: mesure ou démesure.
